The first studies on establishing TAPLAK started with the encouragement of the Independent Accreditation Board within the PMO. The Independent Accreditation Board (PEMAK), established as a result of the work of this board, made a quality assessment registration application to YÖKAK on 13 June 2019, trying to meet all the necessary conditions for authorization.

 

On January 11, 2020, it was decided to form an association as a result of the studies carried out separately by İMEPAK and PEMAK by coming together with professional chambers from design and planning disciplines, from interior architecture and landscape architecture to academia and sector representatives who have taken part in education and accreditation studies until that time.

 

After the first face-to-face meeting, numerous meetings were held through online channels, and the association was established on 11 August 2020.
